The Wind Wildlife Research Meeting X Proceedings mark 20 years of progress in wind/wildlife research.
Since NWCC convened the first wind/avian research meeting in 1994, experts from the wind and wildlife stakeholder community have come together at biennial meetings to identify research questions, advance methods and metrics for synthesis of information across sites, analyze research results, and prioritize future issues.
The Wind Wildlife Research Meeting X Proceedings address a broad range of topics, take the pulse of current research, and reveal a growing focus on technological innovation. This trend is just one of several indications of how far research has come over the past two decades and sets the stage for wind-wildlife solutions in the years ahead.
