US DOE All States Summit
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Stakeholder Engagement and Outreach All States Summit , which has historically followed the annual AWEA WINDPOWER Conference and Exhibition, will this year be held before WINDPOWER. The Summit provides the network of state wind stakeholders, regional wind organizations, state energy officials, representatives from DOE and national labs, industry professional and institutional partners an opportunity to review successes, opportunities, and challenges for wind at the state and regional levels.
In addition to the traditional market updates, this year’s event will focus on successful deployment strategies and the new DOE Wind Vision, the ongoing effort to supplant the 2008 20% wind by 2030 report. The event will also feature the new Regional Resource Centers and provide opportunities to network with and better understand the focus of these organizations.
The Summit features plenary sessions, regional breakouts, and smaller group discussions, as well as presentations and remarks from national guest speakers. Some sessions will be broadcast via live webinar.
